Pre-mixed pouring acrylics for fluid art: no ratios, no thinning experiments, just pour, tilt, and walk away for 24 hours.

Pouring (fluid art, paint pouring, cell-pop) is the easiest route into abstract painting. Mix the colours, pour over a primed canvas, tilt to spread, let dry. The texture and pattern do most of the work. Ships from Morningside, Auckland with free NZ shipping over $75.

What's in this collection

• Pre-mixed Mont Marte pouring acrylic: colours and metallics, ready to pour straight from the bottle
• SuperCell Pouring Paint Kit Premium 23pc: full kit with paint, medium and instructions in one box
• Pouring sets: Celestial, Aurora: pre-curated colour combinations
• Compatible with the rest of the Mont Marte acrylic range: add Signature or Premium Satin as your base

Honest answer if you're starting

The 23pc SuperCell kit is the easiest first pour: everything in one box, instructions included, makes 4–6 pours before you need to restock. Best technique for a wet Auckland weekend with the kids: lay an old sheet down, prep a canvas, pour, tilt, walk away. The patience pays off when you come back the next day.

What pairs with pouring

You'll want a primed canvas (Mont Marte stretched canvas works), a drop sheet, and disposable cups for mixing. The Pouring Acrylic Medium 240ml or 500ml lets you thin standard acrylics if you want to use colours not in the pre-mixed range.
