Mont Marte coloured charcoal pencils: the soft, dusty texture of charcoal in colour, held in a pencil so your hands stay cleaner.

Coloured charcoal blends with a finger or a blending stump, layers well, and gives a softer, more painterly look than coloured pencil. It is at its best on toned, kraft or black paper, where the colours really stand out. Start with the 4pc set ($6.49) to try it, or get the full range in the 12pc set ($11.99).

Spray finished work with fixative to stop smudging. For black and white charcoal, see our charcoal pencils, and for the rest of the drawing range see drawing supplies. Dispatched from Morningside, Auckland in 1–3 working days. Free NZ shipping over $75.
