Stocking an art room, planning a term of projects, or kitting out a whole year level? Handy Mandy supplies schools, kura, early childhood centres, and teachers across New Zealand: from our Auckland warehouse, with real NZ pricing and no import surprises.
Why schools order from us
- NZ stock, fast dispatch: dispatched from Morningside, Auckland in 1–3 working days. Order a week before the unit starts and it'll be there in time.
- Mont Marte, stocked properly: classroom-friendly paints, brushes, canvases, clay, pastels and more at student-budget prices. Browse our Kids & School Art Supplies and Art Sets.
- Aerosols and oversized canvases: the categories overseas retailers can't ship to NZ (aerosols can't fly), including spray paint for senior street-art and design units and large canvases for folio boards and mural projects.
- GST tax invoices provided with every order, and quotes supplied on school letterhead requirements.
- Kiwi-owned: your budget stays in New Zealand.
NCEA students & art departments
We work from the actual requirements of NCEA Levels 1–3 art: see our full NCEA Art Supplies Checklist covering folio boards, wet and dry media, and workbook materials. Complete NCEA student kits are coming soon; in the meantime we'll happily quote a per-student bundle to your department's spec.
How bulk ordering works
- Email us your list at info@handymandy.co.nz: school name, items (or just "Year 9 painting unit, 30 students" works too), and quantities.
- We quote within 1 business day, including bulk pricing where quantities allow and a delivery estimate to your school.
- Approve and pay by card, bank transfer, or arrange invoicing: and we'll confirm your dispatch date.
Not sure what a class needs? Tell us the year level and the project. We'll build the list for you. That's the bit we're good at.
