Will this work on the rubber sole of a running shoe?
Yes, this is the right glue for rubber sole separations. Clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol first, apply a thin even layer, press together for 5 minutes, then leave for 24 hours before wearing.
Is it waterproof?
Water-resistant rather than fully waterproof: fine for puddles and rain, not designed for total immersion.
Will it stay flexible?
Yes, that's the key thing this glue does. Unlike super glue (which dries brittle and cracks when the shoe flexes), this dries to a flexible bond that moves with the foot.
