How to spray for a chalkboard
- Shake 60 seconds.
- Spray onto rigid wood/MDF/primed metal — never directly on drywall.
- 2 thin coats with 10 min between.
- Cure 24 hours before chalking.
- Critical step: rub chalk over entire surface, then wipe off — this "seasons" the board and prevents your first design from staining permanently.

- Outdoors or well-ventilated only. P2 respirator over 10 min.
- Drop sheets down.

FAQ
Do I have to "season" the chalkboard?
Yes — without seasoning, your first chalk drawing leaves a ghost stain. Rub chalk all over the surface then wipe with a damp cloth.
Will chalk markers work too?
Liquid chalk markers yes, but they're harder to wipe off than dry chalk. Test in a corner first.
How long does the coating last?
Indoor use 5+ years with normal cleaning. Outdoor use 1–2 years before fade.
Will it work on drywall?
Not recommended — chalkboards need a rigid backer. Spray onto a piece of plywood/MDF first, then mount that on the wall.
How many cans for a 1m² board?
About 2–3 cans of 100g for full two-coat coverage.
