Mont Marte Studio Goat Hair Brush Set 3pce

Three Japanese-style goat hair brushes: 25mm, 50mm and 75mm. The goat hair is bound to a natural pine handle with copper wire. Goat hair is soft and holds a lot of liquid, so these lay down big, even washes, thin glazes and varnish without scratchy brush marks.

Three widths covers most jobs: 25mm for smaller areas and edges, 50mm for skies and backgrounds on A4 to A3 paper, and 75mm for large washes, varnishing canvases and thin coats of gesso.

Tips: wet the brush and squeeze out the excess before your first wash. Wash out varnish straight away with the right cleaner for that varnish, and dry the brushes flat.
