What's the difference between a table easel and a floor easel?

A table easel sits on a desk or bench and is best for canvases up to about 50 cm tall. A floor easel stands on the ground, holds larger canvases (up to 1.2 m+), and gives you the option to step back and view the work from a distance. If you mostly paint A3 or smaller, table is fine. If you're working NCEA major work or anything > 60 cm tall, get a floor easel.

What size canvas fits a Mont Marte table easel?

Most of our table easels comfortably hold canvases up to A3 (30 × 42 cm) or 40 × 50 cm. The Tabletop Box Easel can go a little larger because it can lean further back. Each product page lists the max canvas size.
