What's the difference between gel super glue and regular super glue?

Regular super glue is water-thin liquid — runs off vertical surfaces and soaks into porous materials. Gel super glue is thicker — stays exactly where you put it, fills small gaps, doesn't soak through fabric or paper.

When should I use the gel instead of the liquid?

Use gel for: vertical surfaces, porous materials (wood, fabric), detail work, small gaps. Use liquid for: flat surfaces, smooth materials, precise tight bonds.

Will it bond plastic to metal?

Yes — gel super glue bonds dissimilar materials including plastic to metal, ceramic to plastic, rubber to wood. Always clean both surfaces first.

How big a gap will it bridge?

Up to about 1mm. For larger gaps use the construction adhesive or contact cement.

Does the tube store well?

3g single-use tubes are designed to be used in one go — but if you cap tightly and store cool you'll get 1-2 more uses out of it before it sets in the tube.
