Will this work on the rubber sole of a running shoe?

Yes — this is the right glue for rubber sole separations. Clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol first, apply a thin even layer, press together for 5 minutes, then leave for 24 hours before wearing.

Is it waterproof?

Water-resistant rather than fully waterproof — fine for puddles and rain, not designed for total immersion.

Will it stay flexible?

Yes — that's the key thing this glue does. Unlike super glue (which dries brittle and cracks when the shoe flexes), this dries to a flexible bond that moves with the foot.

Can I use it on hiking boots?
