Brush care

For acrylics and watercolour: warm soapy water while still wet, reshape the head, lay flat or hang to dry. Never leave brushes head-down in the water — it bends the bristles permanently. For oils: wipe excess on paper towel, swirl in odourless mineral spirits, then wash with brush soap.
