Drying time?

Touch-dry 1–3 days (thin) / 3–7 days (moderate). Fully cured at 6–12 months. Auckland winter +20–40%.

Fat over lean rule?

Each layer must have more oil than the one below. Otherwise the painting cracks within a year. Start lean (thin paint + tiny medium), build with more oil.

Solvents?

Yes — odourless mineral spirits for thinning and cleaning brushes, then wash with brush soap. For water cleanup look at our Mont Marte H2O Oil range.
