Mont Marte Make n Bake Polymer Clay comes in a 60g block, in 32 colours, and bakes hard in a standard home oven at 130°C for around 20 minutes per 6mm of thickness. It's soft and smooth to work, so it suits jewellery, charms, miniatures, Christmas ornaments and small detailed sculpting. If you're after polymer clay in NZ that you can buy one colour at a time, this is it.
How it works: it stays workable on the bench until you bake it. No kiln and no special tools needed.
Choose from 32 colours
Studio basics (Black, White, Beige, Greys), brights (Sunflower, Fluoro Pink, Lemon Yellow), pastels (Honeydew, Lilac, Baby Pink, Aquamarine), deeper tones (Rouge, Emerald, Turquoise, Salmon) and Metallic, Chrome and Rose Gold finishes for jewellery.

FAQ
Does it need a special oven? No, a standard household oven is fine. Bake at 130°C (266°F) for around 20 minutes per 6mm of thickness.
Is it safe for kids? Mont Marte labels it non-toxic. An adult should handle the oven step.
Can I paint it after baking? Yes. Acrylics work, and a clear gloss varnish finishes pieces off.
How do I store an opened block? Wrap it in cling film or a zip-lock bag to keep dust and fluff off.
Is it the same as air-dry clay? No, polymer clay needs heat to harden. For air-dry, see our full Clay collection.
