Mont Marte Goat Hair Pine Wood Brush - 50mm

A 50mm Japanese-style goat hair wash brush on a natural pine handle. 50mm is a handy width for watercolour skies and backgrounds on A4 to A3 paper, and for varnishing small to medium canvases. The goat hair is soft and holds plenty of water, so one stroke carries a long, even wash.

The hair is bound to the handle with copper wire, in the traditional style. Wet it and squeeze out the excess before your first wash so it loads evenly.
