Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Liquid Nails?

Same category — a no-nail construction adhesive — at a fraction of the price. Liquid Nails uses a similar polymer chemistry. For non-load-bearing decorative work (frames, mirrors, trim) this product is fully equivalent.

Can I use it to hang heavy mirrors?

Yes — up to about 5kg on a smooth wall surface. For heavier mirrors (>5kg) we still recommend mechanical fixings as backup.

Will it work on plaster walls?

Yes — bonds cleanly to plaster, gib (drywall), painted surfaces, brick and concrete. Avoid silicone-treated or oily surfaces.

How long until I can let go?

Initial grab takes 10-15 minutes. Don't release until then. Full cure (load-bearing strength) is 24-48 hours.

Will it stain or discolour the wall?

No — off-white when dry, blends with most painted surfaces. Wipe excess immediately with a damp cloth before it cures.
