FAQ
Matt White vs gesso primer for canvas?
Both prime canvas, but Matt White is faster (spray vs brush). Gesso gives more tooth for acrylic-heavy pieces.
Will acrylics adhere to it?
Yes — matte finishes are the most acrylic-friendly. Gloss is too slippery without re-priming.
Yellowing?
Matte White yellows less than Gloss White because there's no UV-trapping topcoat. Still topcoat with Gloss Clear if outdoors.
Food-safe?
