This is a 100g craft aerosol — roughly a third the size of a standard 400g hardware-store can. It is made for craft and small projects, and sprays best in several thin coats rather than one heavy one.

When you need Grey Primer
Bare wood, raw metal, plastic, terracotta, MDF, glossy surfaces being repainted, anything dark you want a light/bright colour on top of. Skip the primer step and your colour coat will need 2-3 extra coats AND still chip off in 6 months.
How to use as primer
- Clean the surface (dust, oil, grease off).
- Shake 60 seconds.
- One light, even coat — don't pool.
- 30 min dry.
- Spray colour over top.

Can I skip the primer?
On canvas / gessoed surfaces / paper — yes, no primer needed. On bare wood, metal, plastic — skip it and your colour coat chips off fast. Primer doubles long-term durability.
Grey vs other-colour primer?
Grey is the universal middle-ground. Tints colour slightly neutral. For neon or yellow colour coats, prime with Gloss White instead for full vibrancy.
How long does it dry?
30 minutes for handling. 24 hours for full cure.
Use as a final finish?
No — Grey Primer is matte and not UV-stable on its own. Always cover with a colour coat.
