Honest answer if you're new

You don't need all the gear on day one. The minimum starter kit for a beginner:

• A sketchbook (140gsm or higher if you plan to use ink or charcoal)
• 2–3 graphite pencils (HB, 2B, 4B covers most beginner work)
• A kneadable eraser + standard eraser
• 6 tubes of Signature acrylic + a small brush set + a stretched canvas (if you're painting too)
